What regular maintenance do heating and air conditioning systems need?

We provide an annual maintenance membership service. This includes a technician who arrives at your home twice a year to inspect and maintain the integrity of your system. These visits allow technicians to clean and inspect all parts of the system and perform any necessary repairs. We do this twice a year so we can catch any hazards or problems before they become costly or dangerous.

Why is it important to replace your HVAC filters?

This depends on how often you use your thru-the-wall HVAC system. We recommend your filter be checked once a month for debris. If there is an excess of debris, the filter needs to be replaced.

Regular filter replacement helps your HVAC system operate at peak level and improves indoor air quality. We recommend you replace your filters at least twice a year: at the beginning of the hot and cold seasons. How long does a new thru-the-wall HVAC system last?

Why doesn’t my a/c maintain the correct temperature?

Why is my air conditioner leaking water?

Your AC uses an evaporator coil that cools down warm air, which creates moisture. The water that is created should collect in a drain pan and be led out of the HVAC through a drain line. If the drain line breaks, clogs or becomes too dirty, it can cause leaking.

Is there anything I should check before calling for service?

Always check that your HVAC unit is turned on. Often, our service guys go to an apartment, only to discover the unit itself was never turned on or the breaker had been flipped. Double check the breakers are turned on and make sure the thermostat is set correctly. No one wants to pay a service fee only to discover it was as simple as flipping a switch.
